What's Needed to Get Started
- Minimum of one year of consistent inbound call support experience working in a customer-facing or financial services environment (within the past two years).
- Pharmacy Technician certification – must be licensed in the state of Ohio
- Financial services support experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration.
- Quiet and secure working environment so you can manage a consistent flow of calls and client interaction without the disruption/distraction of others.
- Ability to connect to the Internet with an Ethernet Cable with the following Internet speed requirements:
- Ping speed lower than 50 milliseconds (ms).
- Download speed greater than 25.0 megabits per second (mbps).
- Upload greater than 10.0 mbps.
- 16 gigabytes RAM (memory) on PC or laptop.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background check and drug test are required.
What It Takes to Succeed:
Previous experience in customer support, service, or success roles, preferably in healthcare and/or high-growth startups (1+ years)
Experience in a retail pharmacy environment
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on details
Proficiency with pharmacy management software and computer systems
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data security
Adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions
- Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and expiration date monitoring
- Process prescription orders, inputting information accurately into the computer system
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Maintain organized digital workspaces and documentation systems
- Handle insurance claims and process billing information for prescription orders
- Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information
- Help with the packaging and labeling of medications for distribution
- Follow pharmacy regulations and protocols to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on pharmacy practices and developments
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and medication management
What You'll Be Doing:
